Class 1E

Hello and welcome to 1E’s class page!

My name is Miss Dawson, and our fabulous teaching assistant is Mrs Newton. We are looking forward to working with you and your child as we guide them on their journey throughout this academic year.

Year One is exciting as we have lots to learn and discover. We have characters which underpin our whole curriculum and help to fully immerse us in our learning.

In Year One, we spend time working in focused groups, working independently and applying our knowledge in our shared areas. We have lots of fun working alongside our peers and are getting good at supporting one another’s learning.

We love to share books from our favourite authors, such as Jill Murphy and Julia Donaldson, but enjoy discovering new authors too.
