Hello!

Welcome to our Year 5/6P class page.

I am Mrs Dempsey, and I will be teaching your child this year. Supporting us in class is Mrs McDermott, our wonderful and experienced teaching assistant, who plays a vital role in our learning journey.

We’ve already had a fantastic start to the year, and I feel incredibly lucky to be working with such a brilliant group of children. This year promises to be full of exciting learning opportunities, personal growth, and memorable achievements. We’ve kicked off the year by diving into our first topic: Space and have also explored the world of Anglo-Saxon Britain.

I’m really looking forward to working with you and your child during their final years at Elton and supporting them as they prepare for their transition to secondary school. I’m confident this will be an amazing year, and I know they’ll work incredibly hard to achieve their goals.
