We are Miss Thomas and Mrs Stenton, and we are delighted to be Reception E's class teachers this year. We are also supported by a fantastic team of teaching assistants who work closely with us to ensure every child feels happy, safe and supported throughout their Reception journey.

At Elton, we believe that children learn best when they are engaged, motivated and having fun. In the Early Years Foundation Stage, we nurture children's natural curiosity and encourage them to become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners for life.

Our learning environment is carefully designed to inspire exploration, creativity and discovery. Through structured play, focused teaching activities and small-group learning opportunities, children are encouraged to follow their interests, develop new skills and build strong foundations for future learning.

We place great importance on creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere where every child feels valued and celebrated. By fostering positive relationships and a love of learning, we help children grow in confidence, resilience and independence.
